Boys and Girls Clubs of San Leandro hosted a Donor Reception on October 22 to show off their recently completed renovation. Staff, teachers, counselors, community leaders, and mostly the families and youth LOVE the place. This short video gives a peek at the new spaces and activities.

Since its original construction in 1966, the Boys & Girls Clubs of San Leandro has provided after-school and summer programs serving San Leandro and San Lorenzo and a venue for events and social services for the local community. Over time student program offerings shifted away from sports and recreation towards academic support and technology, social and emotional well-being, college and career preparation, vocational skills, and health. The renovation transformed the experience of the Boys & Girls Clubs into a flexible social hub for teens to engage, grow, and launch.
